September 2018, St. Paul Academy opens in Daechi, Gangnam, Seoul, which is drawing strong interest of the Korean parents. It is one of the twelve overseas campuses of Nacel Education. All academics focus on the curriculum of high school students, and exactly will follow the standard curriculum of Nacel Education in Minnesota, USA. A Supervisor from our American headquarters will visit the Daechi campus every semester to assure academic quality control and will guide Daechi teachers to consistently implement and deliver and improve the general St. Paul educational programs. It will be a unique opportunity for Korean students to experience and grow in a community of life-long learners with the Nacel approach toward developing global leaders.
The goal of St. Paul is to prepare students to achieve professional success in the global community and to become leaders with broad perspectives and high expectations for themselves and others. We believe that students must be culturally literate and competent problem solvers. Our curriculum emphasizes the development of critical and analytical thinking skills within a college preparatory academic framework by building solid foundations in English, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics.
To develop future leaders by motivating students to be competitive in an international environment. Students are challenged by a strong U.S. program provided by the Nacel International School System with the goal of preparing for competitive higher level educational institute.
The following listed goals provide for a continual cycle of improvement within Saint Paul Academy. The curriculum is set up to provide the student with the best education opportunities using the Minnesota State and AERO standards and delivered through an innovative 'Framework for Instruction' driven by constant and consistent assessment and feedback; all conducted under a culture that supports the respect for learning. The building blocks of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment all connected by a safe 'Culture of Learning' being continually monitored and documented is the foundation of our Improvement Plan.
